21-Day Dry-Aged Angus Beef
Hello and welcome to the farm! My name is Lillie Beringer, and I am the face behind BFF beef, along with the support of my two wonderful parents and husband. Thank you for joining me- I am SO glad you’re here! I am a 28-year-old, 3rd generation FarmHer in Cascade, Iowa, raising high-quality, locally grown, 21-day dry-aged Angus beef. I have enjoyed the taste of this premium product my entire life and am excited to now share the goodness with you!
Our beef can be purchased right here on our website for shipping or farm pick, or you can shop in-person at our farm store open Fridays 2-6 PM or Saturdays 9-1 PM. More info about our farm store can be found here.
Why BFF Beef?
Raising beef and living on the family farm is all I have ever known. My Grandpa started farming in the 1950s, joined by my dad and uncle years later, and now it’s my turn as one of 26 grandchildren to lead the Beringer Family Farm into the future and carry on my Grandpa’s farming legacy. That future is to continue to raise consistent, high-quality Angus premium beef for you to enjoy.
There are simply no shortcuts taken on the farm- from the day a calf is born to the last day of being fed roughly 14 months later, I provide the daily care to ensure my animals are raised in the most natural, humane, and healthy environment possible. A little dirt and grease don’t scare me- it is just a sign of a hardworking woman doing what she loves!
I have a passion for agriculture and the farming lifestyle, and the food you eat should tell a story, not just be a label. I want to be that female farmer who knows and trusts the story behind WHERE your beef comes from and HOW it is raised. I am happy to answer questions and share my farm life with you, and I hope you follow along on Facebook & Instagram @beringerfamilyfarms!
About BFF Beef
When you purchase BFF beef, you can be certain that the animal was raised in the most natural, humane, and healthy environment possible. Below is some more information that highlights our beef program:
· Cattle are born and raised on our farm their entire life- a spring and fall calving herd allows us to have animals ready for market throughout the entire year
· Cattle are cared for and loved by a substantial, compassionate female farmer
· Cattle spend over half of their life on pasture and then have a corn-fed finish until market
· Our carefully selected Angus-based genetics used in our herd ensures a high quality, highly marbled product
· A 21-Day Dry-Age at our USDA-certified locker enhances the flavor and marbling and adds more tenderness to every cut- a taste you cannot beat!

Tallow Skincare
It’s no secret that beef tallow is gaining traction as an all natural, anti-inflammatory, and clean source for your skin care routine. Rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids, tallow mimics the composition of your skin’s natural oils, making it the most bioavailable natural hydration source for your skin.
We are excited to offer a variety of tallow products made from rendered beef fat from cattle on our farm: hand lotion, face cream, soap, baby butt cream, candles, and more!
Our tallow products & all non perishable goods can be shipping individually for a cheaper, $12 flat shipping rate.
Ordering Details
You can select from a variety of our beef bundles, or you can build your own box with whatever cuts you would like. Once you check out, farm pick up or shipping are the two options available to fulfill your order. All products are sold by the CUT, not by the pound.
Farm Pick Up: Select the option at checkout, and then select the date and time on the calendar that works best for pickup. Due to our crazy farming schedule, we would prefer pickups to be during store hours, but if that doesn’t work for your schedule, we can set your order in the drop box outside of the store. You will receive an email with detailed instructions on where to pick up your order.
Farm Store: Our farm store is open every Friday 2-6 PM and Saturday 9-1 PM. Any changes in store hours are always posted on our social media channels.
Shipping: We are currently shipping beef on Monday of every week. All orders need to be placed by the Friday before to ship on time. Our current box size we have on hand holds a max of 50 pounds of beef- we suggest ordering 10-20 pounds to ensure everything delivers frozen.
-Flat Rate shipping is calculated based on what state you live in.
-Boxes will be shipped using UPS or FedEx ground and delivered within 1-3 days from the scheduled ship date, depending on your location from Cascade, Iowa. Dry ice is used to ensure your order arrives still frozen. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to any PO boxes.
-We can also ship our nonperishable products individually (tallow, apparel, ect) for a cheaper $12 flat shipping rate
