Cheeseburger Sliders
These cheeseburger sliders are an easy and delicious dinner for on the go or at home.
This recipe serves 24, but you can easily downsize it by half to fit whatever size family you have.
Ingredients Needed:
2 lbs of ground beef
1/2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
8 slices of medium cheddar cheese
6 oz medium cheddar cheese, shredded
24 dinner rolls (hawaiian rolls)
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of parsley
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place a large skillet over medium heat with 1/2 tsp of olive oil. Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Once cooked, remove from heat and drain grease. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and cut rolls in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls onto the baking sheet and line the rolls with your slices of cheese. Next, add your ground beef mixture and cover the beef with your shredded cheese. Place the top of the buns over the burgers. Melt 2 tbsp of butter with 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of parsley, and 1/2 of pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown. Enjoy!
Tips: If the tops are browning too quickly before the filling is melted, add tin foil to the sides or cover the top.
If you feel your ground beef was too dry, add 1/4 cup of mayonnaise to it after cooking it for next time - then assemble your sliders (Using quality beef, I have never had this issue).
