1 pkg Hawaiian rolls

2 T olive oil

1 lb dried beef

1/2 large onion - thinly sliced

1 bell pepper

2 cups of shredded provolone/mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choice)

3 T melted butter

2 1/2 tsp of concentrated beef stock

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.

  2. Slice the rolls in half horizontally to separate the top and bottom, keeping them together in one slab. DO NOT BREAK INTO INDIVIDUAL ROLLS.

  3. Place the bottom half on the baking sheet and layer with your dried beef.

  4. Heat olive oil in the skilled and add your onion and pepper until tender. Then place on top of the dried beef.

  5. Top everything with your cheese and place the other half of rolls on top.

  6. Melt butter and concentrated beef stock together. Stir to combine. Brush mixture over top of rolls. Sprinkle cheese over top of the rolls.

  7. Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops have started to brown. If necessary, cover rolls with aluminum foil to prevent them from browning too much.
