Beef Pizza

The best thing about homemade pizza is you can use what you got and measure with your heart! All my topping measurements are very vague because I just go with what fits and don’t measure. However, I do with my pizza crust!

Homemade pizza crust:

To a bowl, add 2 cups of warm water, 2 tbsps of yeast, 3 tbsp of sugar, and 2 cups of flour. Mix and cover with a towel for 10 minutes. After, add 3 more cups of flour, 1 tsp of salt, 1/3 cup of olive oil. Mix and knead for 10 minutes. Roll out to thickness desired on a well-floured surface. Place on baking sheet and poke holes with a fork. I added mozzarella cheese around the edges and rolled over the crust for a stuffed crust - string cheese works better but use what you got. Place in a 425 degree oven for 5 minutes by itself, take out and add toppings. Then, place in for another 20 minutes or until golden brown. I like to broil (500 degrees) for a minute at the end to get crispy.

Toppings:

1 flank steak, seasoned with salt & pepper

1 lb of ground beef, seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder

2 green peppers, sauted

Pizza sauce, 14 oz jar

Mozzarella Cheese, seasoned with pepper, garlic powder, salt, and parsley
